The management team has a strong background in commercial and operational logistics in dry bulk and in the energy/utility business.

Roeland Reesinck - Managing Director
worked as a lawyer for one of the top legal firms in The Netherlands prior to joining several stevedoring and dry bulk handling companies in the port of Rotterdam as commercial manager. Roeland holds an LLM in law from Leiden University.

Daniel Kordic - Executive Director -  Sales & Distribution Europe
has a dual degree in business and mechanical engineering (Dipl-Wirtsch.-Ing.). He worked for one of the major pellet mill/plants producers in Germany.  During that period he was responsible for the management of the entire process from sales/engineering to commissioning for internationally based projects especially in Europe and Northern Africa.

Kars Jansen –  Executive Director - Source and Customer Relationships
founded a law firm in Leiden and switched to counseling for one of The Netherlands’ largest health insurers. He developed into an interim manager specialized in complex ICT transition projects prior to joining GF Energy. Kars completed a two-year program in business administration at IBO Business School and holds an LLM in law from Leiden University.

Mark Verwaal – Manager Logistics & Benelux Distribution
started with GF Energy after having graduated (BSc) for Logistics and Transport Management on the Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences.

Samantha Noordzij – Manager Finance
joined GF Energy after having worked at Rotterdam's largest general dry bulk commodities terminal. 

Helmer Schukken - Non Executive Director 
has a background in strategy consulting with utility companies both in Europe and in the US. He also worked with an investment firm in Indonesia, developing mid-stream infrastructure projects for the oil & gas industry in Indonesia. Helmer holds a MSc degree in Civil Engineering from Delft University of Technology. Helmer is also presiding the holding company with majority ownership of GF Energy and holds a position in the board of Trebio Inc.
